Our gin Karbun is inspired by the strength of the last charcoal makers from Ćićarija, an area where coal used to be produced in old 'carbonicas'. Today, we gather all the key ingredients for our Karbun from this area - wild herbs, fruits, and spices that give this gin its exceptional qualities.

Gin Karbun is made from grain distillate and the main ingredient juniper, as well as 20 types of herbs and spices: coriander, anise, thyme, lemon balm, orange peel, yarrow, bitter fennel, lavender, basil, juniper berry and leaf, chamomile flower, lemongrass, elderflower, hibiscus, angelica root, licorice, ginger, and lemon peel. During distillation, the gin goes through a filtration process through activated charcoal, which further cleans the distillate. As it is used to remove toxins from the body, we offer it as an important component in consumption. On each bottle of Karbun, you will find a small bag of activated charcoal pieces that we recommend adding to your glass with ice and a slice of orange.

By the method of production, Karbun belongs to the style of London dry gin production. Originally, they were only made in London, hence the name. The main difference compared to other gins is that this type contains less than 0.1 g/L of sugar, resulting in a dry taste. It is colorless and aromatized exclusively during distillation.

Gin Karbun is a crystal-clear drink, with a fine and seductive aroma dominated by the note of juniper juice, candied orange peel, and earthy moss, with a dry and warm taste rounded flavor aroma, while the aftertaste surprises you with a note of ginger.

It is best served with dry tonic, ice, and a slice of orange, as well as spices of your choice and a mandatory piece of charcoal.
